The Harvest Fine Arts Department Presents -
ANNIE in 2027!

So, you’ve decided to audition for “Annie”! Great…we can’t wait to see you!

 

Here’s what to do next:

​

1.        Get familiar with the show! You can watch a live theatrical version on youtube AND get familiar with the score by listening on Spotify, Apple music, etc. (focus on the Broadway show for now, rather than just theatrical movie versions). Remember that any version you watch is one director’s interpretation of the show, and just one actor’s interpretation of a role…we want you to make it your own!

2.        Sign up for a vocal audition slot on the HCA website to come do your individual vocal audition on Wednesday, August 6th at HCA. Please remain available for callbacks on the 7th and plan to attend the dance audition on Saturday, August 8th.  (Everyone should sign up HERE)

3.        Now it’s time to prepare! Now that you are familiar with the show and the music, choose one or more characters to audition for and practice their song cutting. Get comfortable singing and performing prior to your audition. (See Audtion Resources below)

Thursday, August 6th – Vocal Auditions: Everyone should sign up HERE for a time to come and sing for the audition panel. We can’t wait to see you!

 

Friday, August 7th – Callbacks AS NEEDED (you will get an email the evening before if you are requested)

 

Saturday, August 8th – Dance Auditions (dress comfortably)
